Dear Everybodie, the following are the arrangements for the massive ARISTOPHANES elephant.
This is how the game is played. The class is divided into 2 groups. Both groups should translate the whole piece, but everyone only need to translate 1/5.
I've clumsily sliced it to 5 unequal pieces. If you get the tenser parts, blame not me but luck, hoho.
1: pg. 43 Sorates's "Come forth, be manifest"...pg. 46 Sokrates' "There, a vast drifting...woods and valleys."
2: pg. 46 Strepsiades' "Rubbing his eyes"...pg. 50 Sokrates' "Zeus? What Zeus?...There is no Zeus."
3: pg. 50 Strepsiades' "No Zeus? Then"...pg, 54 Chorus' "Ah, how...learning!"
4: pg. 54 "To Strepsiades...Sir. if you can pass"...pg. 57 Strepsiades "Ah,...see that day?"
5: all of pg. 58 to 61 before "The Chorus turns..."
Any questions, you're welcome to ask, or negotiate shares with classmates in your group.
